Our Story

It was near the end of 2013, and I had been battling with a miserable case of Plantar Fasciitis since 2009. My teenage son, Ezekiel had run 20 feet of rope through the center hole of an otherwise discarded dog toy in an attempt to engage Blossom, our Labrador Retriever in a game of tug-o-war. Because he is a teenager, Ezekiel left the contraption on the floor. Well, upon arriving home from my already miserable existence as a door-to-door insurance salesman, and being in the throes of misery from my case of Plantar Fasciitis, I was desperate for some relief, at least in the short term…

So I employed the aforementioned contraption against my foot pain, as I would have otherwise engaged a tennis ball, golf ball or frozen water bottle. Without thinking about it, I instinctively grabbed the rope (handles) while I was rolling the ball under my foot, and immediately realized the genius of a ball with handles. No more retrieving tennis balls from across the room, under the furniture or back from the dog! After using this for 5 minutes and feeling immediate relief, I rolled up the handle, stuck it in my back pack and instantly made it my “go to” device for foot pain.

Within 4 weeks I realized that between the hardness, the spherical shape (conducive to the shape of the arch, vs a cylindrical object such as a frozen water bottle) and the handles, what I had was more effective than anything else I had used. In fact within 4 weeks, my 3 year battle with Plantar Fasciitis was OVER! That’s when The Oh Ball, as it is now known was born. I subsequently received some help from my friend and neighbor Ebonie, who just happened to be studying to be a Podiatrist and was immediately impressed with The Oh Ball. Her encouragement and input were instrumental to The Oh Ball getting off the ground initially. Ebonie is now Dr. Ebonie Vincent, DPM, and continues to be a big fan and supporter of The Oh Ball.

In the 3 and a half years leading up to the invention of The Oh Ball I had spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars on pain relief. From tennis balls, golf balls and frozen water bottles to physical therapy, chiropractic care and podiatry, to sleeping in splints and crazy socks, I had tried everything short of injections and surgery, I had tried it all. It was ultimately The Oh Ball that set me free from foot pain. Since the debut of the Oh Ball and subsequently The SnOh Ball, I have seen no other product on the market which treats foot pain as quickly, effectively and consistently as The Oh Ball and The SnOh Ball, and I have hundreds of reviews and testimonials to prove it.
